On January 21, 2023, ESI Support, LLC (ESI) celebrated its 50th anniversary of providing exceptional products, outstanding customized services, and high quality customer support. Since 1973, ESI has developed and marketed over 30 products on platforms ranging from Burroughs B1000, Medium, and Large systems to Unisys ClearPath mainframes and varying Windows workstations and servers. We have supported COBOL applications and users throughout our history and continue today as the North American Technical Support hub for COBOL-IT.

Over its 50 years in North and South America as well as Europe, ESI has grown and evolved as a provider of IT-based business solutions, particularly in the area of COBOL and the migration/conversion of COBOL-based systems to current technology.
Our successful experience includes building over 30 award-winning products, as well as hundreds of varied application development and migration / conversion projects, from small to multi-million dollar projects, all centered around best-in-class project management and testing methodology to insure on-time, on-budget results meeting or exceeding our customers' goals.
We are constantly searching for and evaluating the best, most cost-effective technologies. Since 2009, ESI has partnered with COBOL-IT, the developer of the fully supported open-source based COBOL compiler, COBOL-IT, and its related tools; ESI is the primary US and Canadian support arm for COBOL-IT as well as a distributor of COBOL-IT products.
We are a technology company, but we focus on helping solve business problems for our customers and the people they serve with the best technologies for them. Serving your best interests is our most consistent motivator, collectively as an organization and individually as employees.
