COBOL-IT Developer Studio Version 2.0.0 has been released and is available for download. Developer Studio Version 2.0.0 includes upgrades to software libraries used in Developer Studio and underlying much of the functionality in the Developer Studio Perspective, Debugger Perspective and Remote System Explorer Perspective. Prior functionality has been preserved, with support for Projects created in previous versions of Developer Studio 1.8.x and later.

Developer Studio Version 2.0.0 is available for use with the Kepler build of Eclipse, which requires the JRE 6, and for use with the Neon build of Eclipse, which requires the JRE 8.

The Developer Studio Version 2.0.0 provides access to a range of new utilities, which are designed to improve programmer productivity, with new utilities aimed at enhancing the use of the Developer Studio team environments and DevOps environments. Developer Studio provides users with the ability to develop more rapidly and to more easily validate high quality, high performance code.
