Austell Gas CIS Application Enhancements Go Live! - 05/20/2013
Extensive enhancements to LINC/EAE generated system completed on schedule
Extensive enhancements to the Customer Information System (CIS) at Austell Natural Gas System were put into production on May 20, 2013. This project, which was managed by ESI, involved eliciting and documenting the requirements, establishing a development and test environment for the CIS application, developing and testing the enhanced functionality, and on-site presence during the go-live activity.

Requirements analysis began in April 2012 resulting in a RFP issued by Austell which was awarded to ESI in August 2012. Work began immediately with a scheduled completion date of the development phase of November 1, 2012. The enhanced application system was delivered to Austell on-time for them to begin system and user-acceptance testing. This extensive testing phase yielded additional enhancements to be added to the system and coupled with an implementation blackout during the winter months, the application was accepted by Austell with an implementation date of May 20, 2013.

Bryan Shick, Director of Customer Services stated "ESI did an excellent job managing and providing knowledgeable programmers for the Austell Gas System CIS upgrade.  Austell Gas will continue to use ESI for future projects and would recommend ESI to others requiring consulting and programming services."
